Artist notes:
The song was composed with an old Alpha Juno analog synth and a modular synth. I recorded a number of improvisations to make sure that the minimalist playing would hold up with a minimum number of notes. I’ve summarised the most outstanding performances for this piece. The subtle melody is influenced by the melody of Angelo Badalamenti, who I listened to when writing this piece.
Damn this album hits hard, really goes to show how much of a serious illness alzheimer’s/dementia is. Stage 3 is especially amazing yet horrifying. jayjayboi
This has become one of the most important albums of my life. It’s essence is indescribable. Every sound from the start of the record through the end is placed delicately and with care. The album cover is by Julie Mehretu. It’s absolutely an incredible release for which I shall be eternally grateful. Aniket

Deep, interesting, strong and emotional. Just a great work. Liz Harris will always have something strong, special and surprising in the best artistic way. risovic
